Mojave's Restaurants

The people of Mojave have been feeding hungry travelers since the days of the wagons that hauled gold from mines in Death Valley to the tiny pueblo of Los Angeles, to the railroad passengers who stopped to eat in Mojave's Harvey House, the 20 Mule Team drivers who unloaded their huge wagons of borax on the site of today's Kentucky Fried Chicken, the miners in the days of the Soledad Mountain gold rush, Navy and Marine pilots during World War II and Korea, today's travelers on Highways 58 and 14 and the test pilots, aircraft and rocket designers and skilled technicians creating tomorrow's aerospace wonders at Mojave Airport. The door is always open, the coffee's always hot, and the person at the next table might just be driving a Mach II jet or, some day soon, a rocket ship delivering satellites to orbit!
