The Mojave Virtual Museum's Photo Library is a long-term effort to preserve through digitization the photographic record of the town's history. Digital images will be cataloged and available in the categories listed below. Some of the photos can also be seen on other pages in the Museum, and some may appear on more than one of the Library pages. In order to conserve server space, all photos are displayed at 800 pixels wide. Higher resolution copies are available, please contact us.
We welcome submissions from your private collections. We ask that scans be of the highest resolution possible, however we won't turn any away! If you would like to email us images, please send them to Alan or Carol. If you live locally and don't have means of scanning them yourself, we can arrange to help you with that. When submitting photos, please provide as much of the following information as possible: Date of photo (even approximate will help), name of photographer, if known, and any information on the subjects in the photo. Thanks for helping to preserve our heritage!
